Workforce Productivity Enhanced by Getting Back to the Business of Nature
Deer Hill Ranch Introduces State-of-the-Art Ropes Course and Experience-based Training Retreat as Natural Solution for Corporate Clients Needing Team Boost in Economic Downturn

Deer Hill Ranch, an experience-based learning and training retreat located in Lafayette, California, introduces a new program designed specifically to provide team building, prevent job burnout and revitalize the weary workforce and management team.

The adrenaline-loaded environment of concern over high-tech company downsizing and economic failure increasingly results in a high concentration of stress combined with low morale and lowered productivity. With less staff doing more work, people are feeling the drain both physically and mentally, with the end result pointing clearly in the direction of failure. The new "High Ropes Course" consists of five challenges derived from the Outward Bound program in which one or two participants climb up to forty feet in the air wearing belay harnesses, working through their fears with the help of team mates on the ground. By the end of the
challenges, participants achieve a new understanding of the importance of teamwork. The Deer Hill Ranch "Low Ropes Course" and portable elements further enrich the program.
